What does truck dispatch software do?

Dispatch software keeps track of trips and resources: which orders you have, which truck and driver run them and what stage each trip is in. In truckTMS the dispatcher creates the trip with all its stops, assigns it on the planning board and sends the details to the driver on WhatsApp. Trip status and the documents the driver sends back stay on the trip, visible to the whole team.

Can several dispatchers work at the same time?

Yes. Every user in the company sees the same trips and planning board, and changes are recorded in the activity log.

Do drivers need to install an app?

No. Drivers receive trip details on WhatsApp and can send back photos of documents, which attach to the trip.

Can I plan around driver breaks?

The planning board shows driver breaks. Estimated driving and rest times, checked against Regulation (EC) 561/2006, are available with the Tracknamic integration.

Can I export the plan?

Yes. The planning board exports to PDF and the trip list to Excel.

How much does it cost?
